Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to provide technical support to our employees. The role requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support on IT-related issues, hardware/software installations, and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • – Provide first and second-line support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • 
- Install and configure software, hardware, and peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • – Provide IT support for business systems used by staff across the company.
  • – Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution to IT problems.
  • 
- Monitor systems for any errors or malfunctions, and proactively take action to correct issues.
  • 
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software, including licensing and upgrades.
  • – Work with the IT Manager to develop and deliver IT user training, ensuring that all staff are aware of IT policies and procedures.
  • – Set up and maintain user accounts on various systems, including email, Active Directory, and other business applications.
  • – Work closely with external vendors to ensure the smooth running of IT systems.
  • – Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive data in line with the company’s policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • – At least 2-3 years’ experience working in an IT support role.
  • – Good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (W7, W10, Server 2012 onwards), MS Office Suite (2010 onwards), Active Directory, email and messaging systems (Exchange, Outlook).
  • – Excellent problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot quickly, and propose effective solutions.
  • – Good communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • – Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.
  • – Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • – Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • – Relevant IT qualifications such as MCSA/MCSE, ITIL are advantageous.
